TankDoc ("the App") is developed by Dode Yazılım. This policy explains what data we collect and how it is processed when you use the App.
Your data is used solely to: provide the AI diagnosis service, show your water parameter history and charts, manage your subscription, and improve the App. We do not sell or share your data for advertising, and we do not track you.
Diagnosis photos and related water parameters are sent to the OpenAI API for analysis. This data is not used for model training (API data is excluded from training). AI outputs are not veterinary advice.
Data is retained while your account is active. You can delete your TankDoc account data, including aquarium records, photos, rejection history and AI output reports, in-app via Profile → "Delete account and data", and export a copy via Profile → "Export my data" (GDPR right of access). If you also use our other apps, your shared sign-in identity may remain for those apps. Deleting TankDoc data does not cancel a store subscription or delete store payment records.
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS); server-side row-level security ensures you can only access your own data.
Supabase (database, auth, storage) · OpenAI (AI image analysis) · RevenueCat (subscriptions) · Sentry (crash reporting) · PostHog (analytics) · Apple App Store / Google Play (payments).
The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
This policy may be updated; material changes will be announced on this page. Questions: [email protected]
Child abuse or sexual exploitation, explicit pornography, sexual violence, hate, harassment, encouragement of serious violence, illegal activity and content violating others’ rights are prohibited.
Photos submitted for diagnosis, species identification and test-strip reading are automatically checked before AI processing. Inappropriate photos are not processed; a failed safety check stops the request. Three input rejections within 30 minutes trigger a temporary pause until the window expires. Serious or repeated abuse may lead to a manually imposed restriction on AI access.
Report inappropriate content or appeal a restriction by emailing [email protected] with the app name and a description of the issue. Avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information. Reports are reviewed and appropriate action is taken.
The rejection history contains the time and reason/type linked to your account; rejected text, photos or audio are not added to that record. Deleting your account/data in this app deletes the rejection history. If your shared sign-in identity remains for our other apps, a separate account restriction may remain to prevent abuse; it is not the rejection history. Contact us to appeal or make a data request.
Use Report on an AI result to report inaccurate, harmful, inappropriate or other content. If submission is unavailable, use the support email option. A report stores its identifier, your account identifier, the operation (diagnosis, species identification or test-strip reading), the selected reason, the related diagnosis identifier when available, the app version and the creation time. It does not store free text, photos or the AI output text. To prevent abuse, each account may submit at most 10 reports per hour. Deleting your TankDoc account/data also deletes these reports. Do not add unnecessary personal information, photos or the full AI output to an email.
